My name is Brady Larson and I am a Sunshine Coast based Artist / Designer.
Art has always been a passionate interest of mine from a very young age. When I was five my family and I traveled to the United States of America. We visited the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. This interested me a lot more than the rest of my family. Art was such a new and interesting thing for me to experience and it interested me. It peaked my interest so much that I felt the need to climb over the red velvet rope and rub my tiny hands on the surface of Pablo Picasso's 'The Fourteenth of July'. From the moment I touched that painting, I knew that there was something about Picasso's work that spoke to me. I turned around to my father and told him that the painting was rough. After hearing my informative words about the artwork, my father swiftly came to my rescue before security noticed.
Whether it was the texture, the artstyle, the colour, the composure or the abstract nature of his work, I came to the defining solution that I wanted to do what Picasso did. I wanted to become an artist.
